About Dr. med. Nadine Al-Kaisi
I'm a German-trained physician, board-certified in Gynecology and Obstetrics with the subspecialty in Reproductive Medicine (Fachärztin für Gynäkologie und Geburtshilfe, Schwerpunkt Reproduktionsmedizin). I spent over a decade in German fertility medicine in Munich — at the Kinderwunsch Centrum München, one of the largest fertility centres in Germany, and then at the practice „Die Kinderwunschärztin“.
In 2024 my family moved to California. My German license (Approbation) remains valid; I am not licensed to practice medicine in the United States, and I don't pretend otherwise. Eggcellent Fertility is what I built instead of a waiting room: a way to give women something almost nobody in fertility medicine has time to give — a specialist who reads everything and then explains it.
Why the whole picture
In practice I saw it every week: a woman is not a cycle. She's a history, a body, a relationship, a set of results that only make sense together — and a system that splits her into fifteen-minute appointments, each looking at one fragment. The women who struggled most weren't short of effort or information. They were short of interpretation: someone to connect what the app says with what the lab says with what the last two doctors said, and turn it into understanding.
I'll admit I hesitated to build Eggcellent Fertility at all. A review without treatment felt, at first, like too little to offer. Two years and clients on four continents later, I know it's usually the piece that was missing — and that it doesn't matter which country the records come from.
What I believe
- You are not a case, and you're certainly not "unexplained." You're a story that hasn't been read properly yet.
- A second opinion isn't disloyalty to your clinic. It's what informed patients do.
- You should never leave a fertility appointment with fewer answers than you came in with.

The book
In 2021 I wrote Das Kinderwunschbuch: Dein persönlicher Begleiter (Komplett Media) — 200 pages walking German-speaking readers through the entire landscape: the cycle, diagnostics, hormone analysis, what actually happens inside a Kinderwunschzentrum, IVF/ICSI protocols and their differences, genetics, risks, trying at 40+, and the emotional weight of all of it. It's the book version of what I do here: making the whole picture understandable. (In German — English-speaking clients get the live version.)
Outside work
