Fertility Specialist with Compassion
You’ve got me as your village; I’ve got your back throughout your journey!
Professional Journey
My career began with a residency at the University Clinic Ilmtalklinik Pfaffenhofen (Munich Germany), where I honed my skills in internal medicine, focusing on treating multimorbid patients and monitoring complex conditions like diabetes and long-term blood pressure. I then specialized further in obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive endocrinology at the prestigious University Clinic of Dritter Orden München-Nymphenburg, where I was involved in high-risk pregnancies and gynecological oncology, enhancing my surgical expertise.
My passion for fertility led me to complete my residency at the Fertility Clinic Kinderwunsch Centrum München MVZ, where I gained in-depth experience in fertility treatments, performing procedures like egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and inseminations. Here, I also obtained my specialist qualification in reproductive endocrinology. Before I moves with my husband and my two little kids to California, I served as a Reproductive Endocrinologist at Fertility Clinic “Die Kinderwunschärztin”, where I continued to provide consultations on fertility treatments and hormone disorders.
Educational Background
I earned my Doctor of Medicine degree from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany. My medical education foundation was laid at the same university, preparing me for the diverse challenges in the medical field.
International Experience
My commitment to global medical practices has taken me across continents. I've gained practical experience at the University Clinic of Rheinfelden in Basel, Switzerland, the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, Australia, the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in Brisbane, Australia, the University of Tromsø in Norway, Naas General Hospital in Dublin, Ireland, and the Clinic of Bruneck in South Tyrol, Italy. This international exposure has enriched my understanding of different healthcare systems and practices, which I bring to my consultations.
Contributions to the Field
I am an active member of ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology), where I keep abreast of the latest advancements through regular meetings and certified online training programs. My academic contributions include co-authoring a publication in "Der Frauenarzt" on updated progesterone recommendations
Author
I wrote the book "Das Kinderwunschbuch – Dein persönlicher Begleiter" (The Fertility Guide Book), which serves as a personal guide for those navigating fertility issues. My goal was to keep patients informed so they feel confident to discuss their wishes with their doctors and stand up for themselves.
Personal Commitment
I want to understand each client's unique story and providing personalized guidance. While I am licensed in Germany and cannot provide treatment plans or treat patients in the USA, I am here to offer you detailed educational insights, emotional support, and help you advocate for yourself in your fertility journey. I know you might feel helpless, powerless or lonely in your journey, I am here to support you and feel less overwhelmed. Studies show that patients with mental support and feeling confident about their journey have higher chances becoming pregnant!
